Music Ministry

First UMC’s Music Ministry extends as far as the ear can hear with the Sanctuary Choir and the King’s Ringers Handbell Choir. In addition to these two choirs, the Music Ministry works to create opportunities for church and community members to serve the Lord through music.

The King’s Ringers Handbell Choir meets on Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm and participates in worship once a month. The First Church Sanctuary Choir participates in worship three Sundays a month  and rehearses on Thursday evenings September through May from 7:15-8:30 p.m. in the chapel. NO audition is required for either of these choirs.

Erin Sullivan is the director of the First UMC Sanctuary Choir, a position she has held for over 15 years. She is also, currently the director of the King’s Ringers. Erin is one of the middle school chorus teachers at Massillon Intermediate/Middle School.
