Addressing Hunger is a Gospel Issue
Over fourteen percent of the population of Massillon live beneath the poverty line. In a community where many neighbors work tirelessly to meet daily needs, we feel called to respond with steady presence and shared responsibility. Through gathering food, preparing meals, and coordinating care, volunteers help ensure that nourishment and dignity remain part of everyday life. What begins as practical service often grows into lasting relationships—rooted in consistency, trust, and shared concern for one another.

Heaven's Kitchen
Once a month, tables are set and meals are prepared with care and consistency. For more than sixteen years, Heaven's Kitchen has offered warm food and genuine welcome on the third Saturday of each month, creating a space where guests are known and greeted by name. Here, nourishment is offered freely-alongside conversation, familiarity, and mutual anticipation that brings people back, month after month.

Habitat for Humanity
Within a large and far-reaching organization, many hands and gifts come together to make homebuilding possible. We offer one essential piece of that larger work by preparing meals and snacks for volunteers on build sites. Through steady presence and thoughtful hospitality, builders are sustained for long days of labor, and relationships are formed alongside shared tables.

A.H.E.A.D Massillon
In partnership with A.H.E.A.D, volunteers help provide meals for children during weekends, holidays and summer months. When families accompanying their children were unable to receive food due to restrictions, additional lunches were quietly prepared, meeting an unmet need and opening new conversations about faith and community.

Stocking Local Pantries
Care begins before meals are served. Through home gardens and careful tending, fresh produce is grown and donated in the church's name to local food banks. These harvests—shared freely with neighbors—reflect a simple rhythm of patience, generosity and stewardship.
