The First Church Concert Series is delighted to welcome the talented ensemble Buckeye Brass for a special evening of music on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., giving guests time to settle in before the performance begins.

Buckeye Brass brings together five accomplished musicians whose instruments blend to create a warm, resonant sound that fills the room with both energy and calm. The ensemble includes Ron Varn (trumpet), Jay Wardeska (trumpet), Tom Chiera (horn), Phil Smith (trombone), and Bradley Krak (tuba). Together they will present an evening of peaceful brass and beautiful music—a program designed to invite listeners into a moment of reflection, inspiration, and simple enjoyment.

Brass ensembles have a unique ability to carry both power and gentleness in their sound. From rich harmonies to uplifting melodies, this concert promises a musical experience that is both moving and relaxing—perfect for a Friday evening spent with friends, neighbors, and members of the community.

Admission is open to all, and donations will be graciously accepted to support the ongoing First Church Concert Series and future musical events.

Following the performance, guests are invited to a reception with refreshments in the Fellowship Hall, offering an opportunity to meet others in the community and continue the evening in conversation and fellowship.

Whether you are a lover of brass music, a supporter of the arts, or simply looking for a peaceful way to begin your weekend, we hope you will join us for this special night of music with Buckeye Brass.
